d&b D12 amplifier

The d&b D12 amplifier is a two-channel device that occupies 3 rack units (RU) and can deliver medium to high power into low impedance loads between 4 and 16 ohms, making it well-suited for both mobile and installation environments. It comes with setups for all d&b loudspeakers and a linear mode. Each channel can have user-definable settings of up to 340 msec (=100 m/328.1 ft) for signal delay and a 4-band parametric equalizer that allows for optional boost/cut or notch filtering. The amplifier can be configured using a digital rotary encoder and an LCD display. It uses an autosensing switch mode power supply for mains voltages 120 V/230 V, 50 - 60 Hz (optional 100/200V). The D12 also incorporates d&b SenseDrive technology, which provides precise control of LF drivers in d&b loudspeakers driven in 2-Way Active mode or in actively driven d&b subwoofers. When fitted with EP5 connectors and appropriate 5 wire cabling, d&b SenseDrive can deliver an extremely precise bass performance even at high levels. The d&b D12 is compatible with both NL4 and NL8 connector options and has RJ 45 connectors that enable access to the Remote network via CAN-Bus. Additionally, d&b System check ensures that the system performs within a predefined condition, while d&b Load monitoring enables automatic and continuous impedance monitoring, even for LF or HF drivers in systems with multiple elements that are crossed over passively.
